About

A little bit of background...

I have a Catholic mom and a Jewish dad. They fell hard and eight months later were married in a simple garden wedding surrounded by lots of love and a little bit of family protest.

Fast forward to my childhood...
My two brothers and I were raised in a home that celebrated everything. We were encouraged to explore different levels of spirituality and religious backgrounds. We enjoyed our Easter ham with a side of Passover approved matzo ball soup to give you an idea.

As an adult...
I've had the absolute pleasure of being married to my sweet (and handsome) man since 2015. We met back in high school but he had some serious growing up to do before reconnecting post-college. After two years of long distance, I followed my heart down to Tennessee and a year and a half later found ourselves in Washington D.C. and engaged. Our wedding officiant situation was a dramatic one (a story for a different time) and changed our entire perspective on the "wedding process" and our own expectations for vow writing, incorporating family traditions, and learning how to be more in the moment. In the days leading up to our ceremony, we truly embraced the mindset of remembering the point of a wedding...it comes down to two people vowing to spend their lives together. Ultimately, my love and I had the wedding ceremony and reception of our dreams at The Glidden House in downtown Cleveland.

Nowadays...
My husband and I finally made our way back home to the Eastside of Cleveland, while simultaneously growing our family to three doodles and two little girls. You can find us on a typical weekend strolling around Chagrin Falls, grabbing a glass of wine-on-tap from Heinens, stuffing my face with a sparkling whoopie pie at Sugar Me Desserterie, or getting a double scoop of ice cream from the Chagrin Falls Popcorn Shop. In the warmer months, we spend the days hiking different Metroparks, but Squires Castle at the North Chagrin Reservation in Willoughby Hills is an absolute favorite, or sailing out on Lake Erie to the sunset in our background.
